Knight of Wands

Wands · card 34 of 78 · fomo, the chase, hot money, glorious impatience

Knight of Wands tarot card

Upright meaning

The Knight of Wands charges across the desert at full gallop toward something he will identify on arrival. He is hot money incarnate: the momentum chase, the position opened because the chart went vertical and thinking felt slow, the conviction that arrives after the move. Magnificent, honestly — the market needs its cavalry, and sometimes the charge is right. But the card keeps its ledger dry: this Knight's wins are legendary and his average is not. Speed is his gift. An exit strategy was not included in the armor.

Market notes

Pairs with momentum chasing, vertical charts, FOMO volume spikes, and entries late in steep 30-day uptrends. Read a large positive `changePercent` atop an extended run as the Knight mid-gallop. Note what the chase is chasing — and how far the water is behind him.

In the spread

In a past, present, future spread, this card takes the meaning of its seat: what has already happened, what is happening now, or which way the story leans. The position changes the tense. The card does not change its mind.
