Upright meaning
Death almost never means death. It means an ending that was already priced in by everyone except you: a chapter closes, a position unwinds, a business model completes its sentence. The armored figure rides slowly because nothing can outrun him and he knows it — the buggy-whip maker saw the automobile, the legacy vendor saw the cloud, and both received this card. What Death promises is not loss but transformation: capital freed is capital reborn elsewhere. Mourn briefly. The estate sale has excellent prices.
Market notes
Pairs with drawdowns, guidance cuts, CEO departures, delistings, discontinued products, index removals, and capitulation candles. Read against a decisively negative 30-day trend and a `changePercent` confirming the ending is in progress. When the trend has already bottomed, frame Death as the ending that clears ground — the card's traditional mercy.
