Temperance tarot card

Upright meaning

Temperance pours water between two cups with the unhurried precision of someone rebalancing a portfolio on schedule rather than on impulse. One foot on land, one in the water: some equity, some cash, some conviction, some doubt, all in proportions reviewed quarterly. This card blesses the middle path that finance keeps rediscovering and renaming — averaging in, position sizing, the allocation that lets you sleep. Nothing here is thrilling. That is the entire point. Alchemy, it turns out, is mostly patience with a measuring cup.

Market notes

Pairs with dollar-cost averaging, rebalancing, blended positions, moderate steady trends, and recoveries built on small consistent closes. Read against a 30-day trend of modest, regular moves — Temperance distrusts any single day large enough to have a nickname. Extreme `changePercent` under this card is a prompt to rebalance, not to chase.

In the spread

In a past, present, future spread, this card takes the meaning of its seat: what has already happened, what is happening now, or which way the story leans. The position changes the tense. The card does not change its mind.
