Upright meaning
Five figures wave five wands in five directions, and every one of them believes they are winning. The Five of Wands is competition in its natural state: the price war, the feature-parity arms race, five earnings calls each claiming the same market share. Nobody is bleeding yet — this is sparring, not battle — but margins are, quietly. The card asks a merciless question: is this company one of the five, or is it selling wands to all of them? Only one of those positions enjoys a price war.
