Upright meaning
A knight lies in effigy repose, hands folded, three swords hung on the wall and one beneath him — retired, not surrendered. The Four of Swords is deliberate rest after battle: the trading break taken on purpose, the portfolio left alone to compound in the dark, the week where the healthiest position is horizontal. Markets punish exhaustion more reliably than they punish error, and this card knows the difference between quitting and recovering. The swords stay sharp on the wall. The knight will rise. The terminal will still be there, regrettably.
