Upright meaning
The blindfolded figure balances two swords in a perfect X, sitting with her back to the sea as if the tide were negotiable. The Two of Swords is the hold-or-sell stalemate: both cases equally argued, both actions equally frightening, the decision postponed with such discipline that postponement has become the position. The blindfold is self-supplied — the relevant chart is behind her, refreshing. The card's counsel is dry: a decision deferred is still a decision, made daily, at the market's prices rather than yours.
Market notes
