The Moon tarot card

Upright meaning

The Moon lights a path between two towers, and everything along it is slightly wrong. The dog might be a wolf. The pool might be deep. The rumor might be the news, or the news might be the rumor with a byline. This is the market at its least legible: whisper numbers, unconfirmed reports, price action that means either accumulation or distribution depending on which anonymous account you follow. Under the Moon, the honest reading is uncertainty itself. Things are moving in the dark. Wait for daylight before naming them.

Market notes

Pairs with rumor-driven moves, unconfirmed reports, pre-earnings drift, conflicting analyst notes, and volume without explanation. Read against a 30-day trend that wanders without committing. Under the Moon, present the numbers plainly and label every narrative as unverified — this card is the reading engine's humility clause.

In the spread

In a past, present, future spread, this card takes the meaning of its seat: what has already happened, what is happening now, or which way the story leans. The position changes the tense. The card does not change its mind.
