The World
Major Arcana · card 22 of 78 · completion, thesis played out, taking profit, full circle
Upright meaning
The World dances inside the laurel wreath, holding two wands because one victory lap seemed insufficient. This is completion: the thesis that played out entirely, the price target met without moving the target, the position that can be closed with nothing left to prove. Rarest of all market events — not the win, but the finished win, acknowledged as finished. The World asks you to actually take the lap: realize the gain, write down what worked, and notice that every ending in this deck is the Fool's cliff seen from the other side. The wheel is also a wreath.
Market notes
Pairs with price targets achieved, completed turnarounds, buyout closings, and long uptrends reaching stated goals. Read against a 30-day trend that has arrived rather than one still traveling — steady highs, settling volatility. Under the World, the honest suggestion is completion: profit acknowledged, chapter closed, deck reshuffled.
In the spread
In a past, present, future spread, this card takes the meaning of its seat: what has already happened, what is happening now, or which way the story leans. The position changes the tense. The card does not change its mind.
